GINAH RAYL
Middle-aged wife, mother and teacher. Living the stable, successful,
"normal" life that most women live. Some such women might dream of a
different life, exotic and adventurous. But not Ginah. She's already
had her fill of "exotic and adventurous." Those days are
(thankfully) over. It's nice to be "normal" again; doing the "mom"
thing. But every once in a while…when she remembers her father…and
who she really is… |

RICHARD KRIDER
Ginah's dumpy, klutzy husband, also a teacher, whose clumsiness is
legendary at the Rose Creek, California school where he and Ginah
teach. His quirky secret agent gimmick and odd choices of reading
materials don't help. And yet, he's so smart! How did such a sharp
guy end up being such a dork?

|
LARAN KRIDER (aka Lari);
Ginah's and Richard's daughter; 12, a tomboy who loves school,
sports, and best friends, but who's also figuring out that she's a
soon-to-be young woman. Her boyish name and shape aren't helping her
get it straight, and neither is a deep, weird secret that's so
bizarre she can't share it with anyone.

|
JOHN KRIDER
Ginah and Richard's son; 10, a typical bratty little brother in one
sense, a dweebish "chip off the old block" in another, yet John
couldn't care less about any of that. He's too busy with action
figures and "gizmos" to let anything else bother him, except
occasionally his sister, and...well...there is his dad and his
disastrous rep too...

|
NIKKI
Ginah's best girlfriend ever since grade-school days; one of the
only people on the planet who really knows Ginah. Nikki loved those
"exotic and adventurous" days that Ginah came to loathe, and, when
Ginah left, she found a new gig to get her thrills. But, like all
BFF's, they stay in touch...

JAKE FARRISTER
NSA Special Agent in Charge. Not as slick as Bond, not as glamourous
as Sydney Bristow, yet he's gotten the tough jobs done for over 20
years. He's tiring now, the body doesn't work like it used to. Might
be nice to hang it all up. But fate doesn't care about a guy's
health; national emergencies don't fit into retirement plans. Before
he sings a swan song, Farrister's got one more gig to handle; the
weirdest, gnarliest, kookiest, and most dangerous one ever, and a
living legend to meet who just may help him get through it. |
