Lee Tidball, creator of
Princess Reborn,
has been writing fantasy stories since before he left elementary
school, when he created worlds for the stuffed animals of he and his
sister and chronicled the history of their wars. Those elemental
writings have grown now into a body of work that includes two
published novels and five completed screenplays.
His stories and style show the influences of some of the most
honored writers
and
directors in children's literature and family-friendly film,
including Natalie Babbit (Tuck
Everlasting),
Katherine Paterson (Bridge
to Terabithia),
Avi (True
Confessions of
Charlotte Doyle),
C.S. Lewis (Narnia),
and George Lucas (Star
Wars, Indiana Jones),Princess Reborn,
a screenplay based on characters from his novel
Hidden
Talents; Ginah's Journals, Journal #2,
is Lee's first foray into the exciting world of graphic novels,
and a
thrilling way to bring his screen story to life.
Lee's "day job" is teaching 6th graders in his adopted home town of
Modesto, California. He's also founded and coached a youth track
team, coached girls' soccer, founded and directed a community
children's theater company, as well as acted and sung in numerous
church and community theater productions.
