READ-THROUGH
1. Before filming, the actors and directors got together for
a read-through of the script to work out the kinks. The
8-page screenplay was written by Paula Peril creator James
Watson.

2. Late into the night, the
cast and crew read through the script, some for the first
time, to get into character and discuss blocking and
motivation with Director Bill McClelland.

3. Actor Jim
Ryan, playing “Tommy the Tipster”, gets a lesson in pain
from actress Valerie Perez, while Bill McClelland referees.
Practice for the opening scene of the film.

4. At the end of
the night, all of the actors playing the thugs were really
getting into their roles! But don’t worry, Paula always
finds a way out….
